"This photograph was created with my favorite lighting, direct sun very late in the day.  Notice how her eyes just sparkle!  And we chose a simple sweater with soft, muted colors, which do not distract from her face.  I chose to throw the background out of focus, so it would be soft, and would compliment the soft lines of her beautiful face.  All these elements worked together to create a senior portrait that went beyond the usual 'head & shoulders' image."
